Bean a while

A solo (tiny) game I did for the Epic Mega Jam 2020.

The theme was "It´s been a long time, but we are not done yet"

Being Mexican, it is very common to hear stories of people who cross the border or even meet people who did or tried, it is a hard and risky journey, leaving everything and everyone behind in search of a better life for them and the search for the dream American, only to find out when you get to the other side of the river that getting there was only the beginning.

I took this and gave it an abstract and surreal touch, taking with pride and humor the derogatory term used to refer to Mexicans: Beaner, representing the dangers of the journey in a platform puzzle.
