JOMP is a high-speed, single-input action platformer where every move matters and every landing can become a launch. With just one button, you’ll hurl Jompy through dangerous stages packed with hazards, tight movement challenges, reactive level elements, and explosive chain reactions.

This is not a game about stopping to aim, managing inventories, or waiting for cooldowns. This is a game about flow. About rhythm. About hitting the ground at the perfect moment and turning impact into momentum.

There are no weapons.

At the core of JOMP is a simple but expressive control system built around a single input: Action.

On PC, that means Left Mouse Button or Spacebar.
On mobile, just tap.

That one button changes depending on where Jompy is and what he’s doing:

  • While running → Jump
  • In the air → Stomp
  • Near a wall → Wall Jump

That’s it. Simple to learn, brutally satisfying to master.

Every stage is designed around pushing this single mechanic to its limit. Small inputs create huge movement. Good timing creates speed. Great timing creates fire.

Master the JumpStomp

The heart of JOMP is the JumpStomp.

Release the button at the exact moment Jompy lands, and you trigger a perfectly timed impact burst that transforms defense into offense and movement into momentum.

A successful JumpStomp:

  • Gives Jompy a burst of speed
  • Ignites him for a short time
  • Makes him temporarily invulnerable to fire hazards and enemies
  • Lets you chain movement with powerful, explosive rhythm

Miss the timing, and Jompy drops into an Exhaust state, slowing him down and weakening his jumps for a short duration.

That means every landing matters. Every mistake costs momentum. Every successful chain feels like lighting a fuse and riding the explosion forward.
